Michael van Praag: “I am happy that Menno wants to do this. He is an excellent director who has both internal and external support and has enforced this himself through the good and successful way in which he has been doing his work for Ajax for years. In addition, it is It’s good for Ajax that Alex has started his new role full of energy. We have a lot of confidence in the current management team for the months ahead.”

Menno Geelen: “I look forward to taking on this role temporarily. This means that we are organizationally in order for the coming period and we are creating the administrative peace that is needed. The progress of the work in the field of football now has the highest priority. Alex Kroes and Marijn Beuker must be able to continue working together with the people around them. My job is, among other things, to ensure that they can focus on this and that at the same time all other departments and colleagues can function optimally.”
