Google is bringing the Circle to Search feature to Pixel 6, Pixel 6a, Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet devices this week. That’s what 9to5Google writes. The search feature is also rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S23, Fold5, Flip5 and Samsung Tab S9 devices.

The editors of 9to5Google write that Circle to Search will soon also be able to take care of translations. Users can then no longer only search for what they have circled on their screen, but can also have that selected content translated immediately.

Circle to Search was announced by Google at the beginning of this year. This is a search function where users must first press the home button or navigation bar and then circle content that Google should search for. This can be either text or an object. Users can also ask questions about the cut image, which will then be answered by AI. The feature was announced for Pixel 8 phones at the end of January, but then also came to Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphones. Google announced at the beginning of March that the search function is also coming to Pixel 7 phones.
