Apple May 2024 event date
In recent months, there have been rumors from various reliable sources that Apple has a lot planned when it comes to iPads this spring. There will be a new iPad Pro, a new iPad Air and various new iPad accessories. According to rumors, these are major innovations, which means that there is enough for a well-filled Apple event. For a long time it seemed that Apple would announce the new iPads with a press release, but now it appears that Apple has opted for an event after all. And Apple may have another surprise in store. Anyway: Apple just sent out the invites for the first Apple event of 2024. The date of the May 2024 event is Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 4:00 PM Dutch time.
New iPads have been highly anticipated. According to rumors, Apple had wanted to release the iPads at the end of March or beginning of April, but this was reportedly postponed several times. But the long wait now seems to be almost over, because the new iPads are expected during the May event. These will be the first new iPads in a year and a half. In addition, new accessories are expected.

Does Apple have another surprise in store? It is also possible that Apple, for example, will announce Vision Pro-related news. According to previous reports, Apple would like to release the Vision Pro in other countries before the WWDC in June. A release for the Vision Pro in Europe may be announced during the event, although we do not yet know whether the Netherlands will also be included.

It is quite unique that Apple is organizing a new event in May, so close to WWDC 2024 on June 10. May is not a traditional Apple Event month.
