Battlestate Games, the makers of Escape from Tarkov, has apologized for the way it handled the entire situation surrounding the game’s new Unheard Edition in recent days. COO Nikita Buyanov said that they had not expected such a reaction from the community, but that they now want to respond appropriately.

The most important part of that response is that owners of the Edge of Darkness Edition, who reacted indignantly when it turned out that the co-op PvE mode previously promised for them would apparently only be made available via the new Unheard Edition, that co-op PvE mode will still get it, albeit “in waves.”

Initially, Battlestate Games only wanted to make the co-op PvE mode available to owners of the Edge of Darkness Edition after a test period, but of course the community responded negatively to this as well. So the plan was changed again and owners of the Edge of Darkness Edition would now get access whenever possible.

It is not yet known when exactly that will be. Battlestate Games states that it currently does not have the server capacity to give everyone stable access to the new mode, but it hopes to expand that capacity as soon as possible, giving Edge of Darkness Edition owners access little by little. to get.
