Johan Derksen and René van der Gijp are definitely not going to take the behavioral course against inappropriate behavior – which is mandatory for people who work at RTL, Talpa and the NPO. They repeated that again last night Today Inside.
“I don’t want to be bothered by young people who come up with this or demand this with silly exams,” Derksen said yesterday in the talk show.

He also said he hadn’t heard anything about it. “I’m not going to do this kind of nonsense at 75. There’s nothing about that in my contract, so I just don’t do that.”
A day later, yesterday, Derksen had not changed his mind. “If the management is smart now, they will forget to send me that thing,” he said. “Because if it becomes a prestige issue, it doesn’t help anyone. But of course I don’t want to take part in that craziness.” That statement earned Derksen quite a bit of applause from the audience. According to presenter Wilfred Genee, Derksen mainly received praise from “old white men”.

René van der Gijp also does not plan to take the course: “I have been engaging in transgressive behavior for forty years and I do not intend to stop doing so in the last five years,” he said, laughing.

Political reporter Merel Ek stated in the broadcast on Tuesday that the training must be completed before April 12.
