Jysk Nederland celebrates the start of the garden season with permanently reduced prices. During the Easter weekend, the unofficial kick-off of the gardening season, many customers already found their way to the Danish home furnishings store chain.
On Easter Monday, traditionally a day for a visit to the home boulevard, Jysk attracted more than 20 percent more customers to its stores in the Netherlands than a year earlier. The shops were also busy on Easter Saturday. A relatively large number of lounge sets were purchased. Other garden items, such as the GJERN hanging chair and UBBERUP lounge chair, were also popular. The residential chain reports this.
“As the largest garden furniture seller in the Netherlands, the garden season is the most important period for Jysk. Last year the start of the garden season was rained out and the garden season actually only started in May. This year the temperatures are higher and we see that we are already selling many more garden items than last year. It was perfect weather for shopping last weekend. Hopefully this is the start of a beautiful garden season,” says Frank Christant, Country Director of Jysk in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Jysk has permanently reduced the price of almost half of its products in the Netherlands.
Reduced prices
To kick off the garden season in a festive way, Jysk is offering up to 60 percent discounts on many items during the Spring Knallers promotional week. For example, garden tables, garden chairs and garden cushions have been reduced in price, as have many popular items for the home.
In addition, Jysk Netherlands has permanently reduced the price of almost half of its products. An analysis made by Jysk shows that the prices of 48 percent of products are now lower than a year earlier.
Another 300 products have also been added to the range with a fixed low price (‘Everyday low price’). This category now consists of 1500 products. Many of these products have also been further reduced in price over the past year.
“At Jysk we are known for our good offers. In recent years, like many other companies, we have had to deal with cost increases. As a company, we have absorbed the majority of these costs ourselves, because we want our prices to always be are competitive. Now we have lowered our already low prices even further,” says Frank Christant.
New collection
With the start of the garden season, Jysk is also introducing a new outdoor collection. The new range consists of various lounge sets, garden chairs, parasols and pavilions in modern designs, vibrant colors and different materials. There is a selection of new wooden garden furniture, which, like all other wooden furniture from Jysk, is made from FSC®-certified wood (FSC N001715).
