CelebritiesShannen Doherty (52), known from ‘Charmed’ and ‘Beverly Hills 90210’, is cleaning out her homes and storage spaces to “make the transition easier after my death”, as she says in her podcast ‘Let’s Be Clear’. The actress has terminal breast cancer.

“I know it will be difficult for my mother if I die,” she opens her story in the new episode. “That’s why I want to arrange a lot of things so that she doesn’t have to do all those things after I die. I also don’t want her to have four storage rooms full of furniture and then have to clean it out.”

So Doherty decided to do a spring clean and sort through her belongings and then donate or sell them. She recently traveled to Tennessee to pack her things there. Doherty dreamed for years of living on the property and breeding horses, but she has now let that dream go. “It was very difficult and emotional to pack my things there. I felt like I had given up on the dream of this property, building a house for me and my mother. It felt like I was giving up on life, like I was throwing in the towel.”

The actress then explains that letting go of the belongings and her belongings “helps create a cleaner, easier transition for her family.” Moreover, she also tries to see the benefits of it. “With the money I can travel more and build memories with the people I love. In addition, I will also ensure that there is enough of my legacy for everyone. So that everyone in my life will be taken care of once I pass away.”

The happiest version of myself

The ‘Charmed’ actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. Two years later, she went into remission, but in 2019 the cancer returned in stage 4. Last June, Shannen shared that the cancer had spread to her brain. By November it had also spread to her bones. And while the 52-year-old actress didn’t specify what type of cancer treatment she’s taking, Shannen remains positive after seeing the results. “Despite massive health issues, personal struggles, a lot of heartache and fear, I recently said to myself, ‘God, I think I’m really starting to live the happiest version of myself.’”
