The body of Auriane Nathalie Laisne, a 22-year-old young lady, was found in an abandoned cemetery in the Aosta Valley, Italy. It was a hiker who discovered the body, which was in a state of decomposition.

The victim’s body showed multiple stab wounds in the abdominal and neck areas, and gunshot wounds. According to an autopsy, the injuries may have been inflicted after her death, The Sun reports.

Ghost hunter

The young lady, originally from France, was reportedly a ghost hunter, looking for a haunted house. She is said to have told this to relatives before her departure.

It cannot be ruled out that it was a “murder with consent”, as a kind of human sacrifice. The police are investigating that track. Especially since there were no traces that would indicate that the victim resisted.

Long distance relationship

21-year-old Italian Teima Sohaib is considered a suspect in the murder case. The suspect and the victim are said to have had a long-distance relationship with each other, although Sohaib had been banned from contact due to violence.
