OSSENDRECHT – Today, Mayor Adriaansen awarded a Royal Decoration to eight residents of Woensdrecht during the General Occasion 2024, also known as the Ribbon Rain. The fourth person who was surprised this day is Kees Daleboudt (80) from Ossendrecht, while he was working in the Protestant Church of Ossendrecht.

Mr Kees Daleboudt from Ossendrecht has been appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau. Kees Daleboudt has been active as a volunteer in many areas since 1976. For example, he was a volunteer at the Reformed Church in Zevenbergen, he served as a district elder, elder president and elder scribe. He was a membership administrator at the Protestant Church in Woensdrecht for more than 18 years and a board member of the AWN Association of Volunteers in Archeology for 13 years. He has held a management position in the works council at various employers. He was treasurer of the Zevenbergs Vocaal Ensemble for 14 years, has been treasurer at the Natural History and Ethnological Museum in Oudenbosch since 2008, from 2017 he has also been treasurer of the Natuurpodium Brabantse Wal and from 2018 he has been treasurer at the Dutch Zouaves Museum Foundation in Oudenbosch. Since 2021, he has also been a volunteer at the Zuidwesthoek Cultural-Historical Heritage Preservation Foundation.
