You don’t have to go far for a free outing. The weekend of May 11 and 12 is the National Mill Days and you can visit windmills in Groningen.

During the National Mill Days you can not only visit around 1,200 mills, but also see how grain is milled in many locations. There are also activities for children and you can taste local products.

You can also visit windmills in Groningen. One of these is of course the Wilhelmina mill in De Hoogte. The mill is open on May 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also take a tour of the building. You can also visit the De Jonge Held mill, the Zuidwendinger and the ‘t Witte Lam mill.
