Flea markets, fairs, music, dancing, bouncy castles. Many Hoogeven residents were up early to prepare everything for this festive orange day.

This also applies to the Wielewaal shopping center, where merchandise was displayed early on. The festivities last there until 5 p.m.

Center Hoogeveen

The children’s free market on Schutstraat was also there early. In the center there are also about 185 stalls at the fair and its artists and street musicians. The shops are open.

The meadow

In the Steenberger Park there is a children’s flea market until 3:30 PM, a play circuit until 4:00 PM and the bouncy castle park is open until 4:30 PM. There is also a wheel of adventure and a shooting gallery. There is a catering tent for parents.

Oranjebuurt

At the De Pompe community center the party starts at 3 p.m. with a performance by Johan van Waas.

Elim

At the Kindervreugd playground in Elim, children can sell their things at the dress market from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

Hollandscheveld

Activities committee ‘t Oekie has set up a free games trail at the De Marke sports hall together with gymnastics club Eugenia. Children are welcome from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In the afternoon (from 3 p.m.) party band Hik will perform.

New Moscow

There are also activities at the village hall in New Moscow. There is a flea market in the morning and there are games for the children.

Hoofdstraat-Noord

During King’s Day, 4 Motion and Banda di Festa are on the program at café De Lijst. Starts at 4:00 PM.

Orange concert

Not extinguished yet? HCM will give an Orange concert in the Grote Kerk on Saturday evening at 8:00 PM.
