Arsenal or Manchester City, tension abound

--

If you look at the Premier League rankings, Arsenal are at the top. The Gunners have one point more than Manchester City. Kevin De Bruyne and Jérémy Doku, however, completed one match less.

The defending champion has the best credentials to play champions in England again. The remaining program also looks more favorable.

  • Saturday May 4, 6:30 PM: Manchester City – Wolverhampton Wanderers
  • Saturday May 11, 1:30 PM: Fulham – Manchester City
  • Tuesday May 14, 9 p.m.: Tottenham Hotspur – Manchester City
  • Sunday May 19, 5:00 PM: Manchester City – West Ham United

Arsenal will have to record a nine out of nine in the remaining three matches, while looking forward to Man City’s results. Leandro Trossard still has to prepare for these matches:

  • Saturday 4 May, 1.30pm: Arsenal – Bournemouth
  • Sunday May 12, 5:30 PM: Manchester United – Arsenal
  • Sunday May 19, 5 p.m.: Arsenal – Everton

Manchester City lost in the Champions League against Real Madrid. Undeserved. They can now fully focus on the title fight. They can also win the FA Cup, with Manchester United as their opponent.

Arsenal also fell on the European front. With a six out of six against Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, they continue to fight for the national title. Liverpool were at the top for a long time, but the Reds are now five points behind Arsenal, after 1 in 9 against Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham United. They still play against Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa (away) and Wolverhampton.
