sc Heerenveen, together with nine other premier league clubs, has been nominated for the Voetbal Geeft Prijs of the Vriendenloterij. The winner of this prize will receive an amount of 50,000 euros to realize this social project. With the Voetbal Geeft Prijs, the VriendenLoterij annually challenges all premier league clubs to set up an innovative and impactful social project.
sc Heerenveen Skoalletour
During the Skoalletour, sc Heerenveen visits schools to introduce children to social themes in a fun way. During each school visit, three themes are discussed during both the morning and afternoon programs, tailored to the knowledge and thinking level of the different age groups. The day starts with a joint opening, including a warm-up routine with the mascot and a video message from a player.
The aim of the club is to ensure that children learn more about enough exercise and healthy living. In addition, sc Heerenveen wants to motivate and inspire children to exercise more and come into contact with each other.
About Football Gives
The Football Gives Prize is an initiative of the VriendenLoterij, in collaboration with the Eredivisie CV and ESPN. This competition gives all clubs the opportunity to realize an innovative social project and thus contribute to a healthy and strong society.
