Summer days are over: changeable weekend with showers on the way

After two summery days, a changeable weekend is coming. “On Remembrance Day we have to take showers into account,” says weatherman Floris Lafeber from Weerplaza. Liberation Day, on the other hand, looks a little better and we can expect sun and higher temperatures again in the course of next week.

While there was a lot of room for the sun the last two days, it looks gloomy on Friday. “With a temperature of a maximum of fourteen degrees and rain, the weather is a little less today,” says Lafeber. It will be wet before noon, but it will become drier from the south during the afternoon.

Changeable weekend
During Remembrance Day, according to the weatherman, we should take showers into account. Still, Saturday gets off to a friendly start with room for the sun. Lafeber expects the chance of showers to increase during the afternoon. “The temperature rises to seventeen degrees, which is quite normal for that time of year.”

Liberation Day starts on a mixed note with room for sunny periods and a chance of showers, but in the afternoon it will be dry and the temperature will rise. “Then it will be about seventeen degrees in the province and it can even get warmer in the sun,” says the weatherman.

Got spoiled
Except for today, the weatherman says it’s not that bad: “We have been a bit spoiled by the weather of the last few days.”

After the weekend it will remain changeable for a few days, but we can expect nice weather again from Wednesday. “Then there will be a sunny and dry period nationally with a temperature of around nineteen and twenty degrees.”
