Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance’s June 14 release date is getting closer. Atlus keeps the streak alive by sharing a demon from this JRPG every day. Many of these demons have a mystical tone: for example, Amabie that we discussed earlier came from an ancient Japanese legend. Today Atlus is keeping it a little less imaginative with demon 25, because this is ‘just’ a skeleton on a motorcycle. Meet Hell Biker!
Fans of Shin Megami Tensei and/or spin-off Persona may already recognize this demon. The Hell Biker has already appeared in about ten iterations of the series and clearly shows no signs of stopping. While many demons have a background in myths, legends or folklore, the Hell Biker is a bit more straightforward. According to his background, he was simply a violent figure who hated himself and the world, which turned him into a demon. Apparently it can be that simple. But hey, who needs an interesting backstory when you have a cool bike?
