Porn actress Stormy Daniels is expected to testify today in the criminal trial of Donald Trump in New York. American media report this through Daniels’ lawyer.

The lawsuit centers on the payment of $130,000 in hush money to Stormy Daniels, who tried to reveal during the 2016 presidential campaign that she had had an affair with Donald Trump. Paying hush money is not illegal in itself, but the ex-president is said to have repaid the money to his then lawyer Michael Cohen with campaign funds, and had that payment included in the accounting as “legal costs”. In total, Trump is accused of 34 criminal offenses.
