The time has finally come: the Den Bosch TK Maxx opens

The popular department store would come to Den Bosch, but the big question was when. More than a year ago there were rumors going around about a TK Maxx on the Pensmarkt. Renovations have been going on behind the scenes for months, but an opening date has not yet been announced. In just over two weeks the time will come.

From Thursday, May 23, residents of Den Bosch can visit TK Maxx in their own city. The doors of Pensmarkt 6-8 open at 10:00 am. It is the store’s seventeenth location in the south of the country.

Long time uncertainty

The arrival of the store in Den Bosch was already discussed in April 2023. At the time it was still conjecture, but in December last year the company advertised a vacancy for a team leader for the Den Bosch branch. It stated that the store would open ‘early 2024’.

Then there was silence for a long time. Renovations were underway in the building where the V&D cellar used to be. Work was also done in the adjacent shop. The Etos used to be there. An opening date for the new department store has not yet been announced.

TK Maxx’s buyers travel all over the world to purchase clothing, shoes, bags, toys and more at dirt cheap prices. Fashionistas and bargain hunters can indulge themselves, as there are items from designer brands hidden in the store.
