This is how much the new HBO Max will cost
A standard subscription to HBO Max currently costs 7.99 euros per month, or 59.99 euros if you pay annually. But with the expansion of the streaming service, there will be some changes in terms of pricing. And it’s not ideal.
Basic subscription
HBO Max’s basic subscription will cost less than the cheapest subscription currently. While the only subscription now costs 7.99 euros, it will only cost 5.99 euros for the new streaming service. But not everything is all roses and sunshine.
With the new Basic subscription, subscribers must accept advertisements. So yes, the subscription will be cheaper, but at a price. Basic subscribers can watch the updated HBO Max on two devices simultaneously and have access to Full HD resolution.
Renewed Standard subscription
The Standard subscription will become slightly more expensive than it is now. From June 11, you will pay 9.99 euros per month for a Standard subscription. That is an increase of two euros per month.
The new Standard subscription to HBO Max does not come with any additional features as with the Basic subscription. You can watch on two devices at the same time and get access to Full HD resolution. Unlike the Basic subscription, you also get the chance to download thirty titles so you can watch them online.
Premium subscription
The Premium subscription to the updated HBO Max is described as the subscription with the best consumer experience. You pay 13.99 euros per month for the Premium subscription, but you also get some extras.
