Eindhoven or Tilburg?
The battle between the two Brabant cities broke out. Was it the city of light Eindhoven? Or the student city of Tilburg? In the end it was Noud who came out on top. And that took a while for Alisha, who had to leave her beloved Eindhoven behind her. “We have had to find our feet. Something like that takes time.” Yet Noud and Alisha can now put it into perspective. “Eindhoven is a thirty-minute drive away.” And they are willing to pay that car journey for their dream house. Slight fear for Roos Reedijk
When you think of interior stylist Roos Reedijk, you think of bright colors, hysterical prints and funky wallpaper. Last episode Roos was able to go wild with color in not one, but two houses of Melle, Berend and Sanna in Buy Without Looking. This time she had to make do with a color palette of black, white, beige and a shade of gray. There was no color to be seen in the mood boards of the young couple. And that was done deliberately, Noud explains. The two therefore had a slight fear of Roos. “I thought: I’m deliberately not going to use any color. If I do that, something will come back.”
Noud and Alisha from Buying Without Looking
The Tinder couple is now completely settled in their new home. “I had the feeling that it was our home. I immediately felt at home.” This is not yet the case for the born Eindhoven resident Alisha after seven months. “Home is a big word for me, but I immediately had a warm feeling.” Apart from a photo frame and an accessory here and there, nothing else has changed in the brand new home. We should therefore not expect to see a for-sale sign in the Tilburg front garden.
