There are more and more rumors that the program Very rich, dirt poor is fake. Now someone on TikTok reveals that she was asked for the program, even though she is not rich at all. “But I was allowed to participate in someone else’s house.”

TikTokker Ipek Steenbeek reacted with surprise when she was approached to participate Very rich, dirt poor. “I thought: which category do I belong in? I’m not poor, but sometimes I am. I am not rich, but sometimes I am,” she begins her story on TikTok. “I described that I had no villa, no swimming pool. But it was indeed that we would then be the ‘rich family’. The concept was nice, but that’s just not us.”

Someone else’s house

But according to Ipek, it didn’t matter whether she was rich or not. “At one point she also said: ‘You can also participate in someone else’s house.’ But then you pretend that you are rich, because then you just go into someone else’s house,” she says. “It was really strange.”

Not rich

Juicechannel shares the TikTok video on Instagram and is flooded with responses from followers who were also approached. ,,Correct! I was also approached and received this offer because I do not live in a villa. In fact, it’s so sick that you’re allowed to partner with a company and pretend it’s yours for more advertising. You don’t have to give the weekly allowance to the poor side yourself, this is all sponsored. In short: all you have to do is pretend you’re rich and smile sweetly.”

Another follower also recognizes himself in the story. “They also asked us,” says the follower. “We would even be allowed to go home between recordings to pack the company’s orders.”

Poor families

But what about the poor families featured in the program? “What we know so far is that the poor family is really poor and unplayed. So it is a nice experience for them,” writes Juicechannel.

@ipeksteenbeek I didn’t even know this program still existed by the way
