In 2020, Geert decided to stop farming. He transferred the farm to his successor and moved to a beautiful detached house down the street. He also wanted to go on a nice trip. Wild plans, which became even wilder when they met a very nice woman.

Four years ago he met his girlfriend Selma. “She was on a dating site,” he told the regional broadcaster. “We saw each other and I thought: what a nice woman.”
