What do programs like Worth it?!, Fall in love with your House again and Extreme Home Makeover with the format Your House in Order to make? That’s right: the impressive before and afters of the homes of the main characters of the programs. In the season of SBS6′ Your House in Order it is mainly about the inside of the houses and in this new season we see many participants struggling to make their homes livable. Think, for example, of Casper and Louise last week: the couple who had no fewer than 157 shopping bags and 54 bottles of sunscreen in their cupboards.

Get rid of unnecessary items in Your House in Order

We asked a Talpa spokesperson whether the participants would actually be supervised after the clean-up program. Or should they continue on their own in a clean and tidy life after the broadcast? No, that’s different. “In the program Your House in Order, Viktor Brand and organizer Quirine Molhuysen work together with a team of tidying coaches for a week to clean up and renovate houses and help residents say goodbye to unnecessary items under supervision.”

A closing conversation

The Talpa spokesperson also explains what will happen to the candidates after this intensive period. “After this intensive period, producer IDTV has a final discussion with the participants. Then, with the experience gained, the participants continue independently to manage their own, tidy living environment.”
