The Dutch points from the jury for the participants in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 11 will be announced by Nikkie de Jager from Uden. She does this from the birthplace of Dutch participant Joost Klein: Leeuwarden.

De Jager announces the points from a square in the Frisian capital. The Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcast live on that square. It is the first time that she is involved in the Eurovision Song Contest in this way. Earlier in 2021, she was one of the presenters when the festival took place in Rotterdam.

On the evening of the final, there will also be performances on the Oldehoofsterkerkhof square in Leeuwarden where good friends of Klein will participate. This includes the rappers Brunzyn and Bokoedro.

Klein will try to reach the final battle of the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, with his song ‘Europapa’ on May 9. He is in good standing with the bookmakers. They see him as a great contender for victory.

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest has even more Brabant touches in addition to De Jager. Appie Mussa, who grew up in Eindhoven, is on stage together with Klein. Mussa is known for his sketches on social media such as TikTok and Instagram and released the song Sexy Song with Joost Klein in 2021. He is also in the Europapa music video. Furthermore, singer Jacqueline Govaert, known from the Tilburg band Krezip, is in the commentary position for the first time next to Cornald Maas from Bergen op Zoom.
