Zoetermeer – During a well-attended meeting in the Zoetermeer art café Kiki at Franx, Huub Schreurs presented his book ‘Separate Worlds, roads to social change’ last week.

In a lively interview, former colleague Marc Mataheru gave Zoetermeer the opportunity to explain the book. In it, Huub looked back on his international experiences in the field of social change, after having started his career at the Organization for Community Development (OSZ) in Zoetermeer.

In personal and compelling stories, Schreurs takes the reader on a journey through various projects and programs at home and abroad, and reflects on the successes and learning moments he has experienced. His central message is that in complex times like ours, we need new ways of thinking and acting to achieve real change that no longer gets stuck in project-based thinking.
