This is a nineteen-year-old aircraft that was delivered by Boeing to Xiamen Air in 2005 and flew there until early March of this year. During the employment for the Chinese KLM partner, the 737 had the registration B-5216.

It’s already 25ste aircraft that will be taken apart by AELS at Twente airport. The company removes all valuable parts from the device for resale and disposes of the remaining material in an environmentally friendly manner.

The landing of the 737 attracted a lot of interest from plane spotters.

One of the pilots who flew the Boeing to Twente, Wes Gardner from the Nomadic Aviation company, shared his experiences during the flight on X:
