You can make 4K images with this new cheap DJI drone

--

DJI is launching a new, compact drone that can film in 4K quality. The DJI Mini 4K is already on Amazon’s site and has a release date.

DJI markets its new drone as the ‘ideal 4K mini camera for beginners’, but more specifications are still missing. In any case, it looks very similar to the DJI Mini 2 SE, which can film in a maximum of 2.7K resolution. The functions will probably be almost the same as those of the Mini 2 SE, which has a 12MP camera, can fly for about thirty minutes and can withstand wind gusts of up to 24 kilometers per hour.

The 4K upgrade for DJI’s entry-level model seems like a logical move, given the competition from brands like Potensic, Parrot and Yuneec. The Potensic Atom drone in particular, with a price tag of less than 300 euros, is a formidable opponent for DJI’s cheapest models.

In a few days

You will soon find out how the DJI Mini 4K is marketed. Amazon’s British website states that the drone will be unveiled on Monday, April 29 at 3 p.m. Just like the specifications, the sales price is also missing, although according to Digitaltrends it seems to be around $340. That’s the same price the Mini 2 SE had at the beginning of this year.
