Monica Geuze (29) was seen for the first time with her new boyfriend, British footballer James Lawrence (31), on Instagram. Good friend Robbert Rodenburg (26) shared a photo with the couple online.
“I have a boyfriend again, but that’s all I’m going to say about it. Period.”
“Today the seventh wheel,” writes the single Robbert with a photo of him, the couple, model Romee Strijd and her partner Laurens van Leeuwen and entrepreneur Danique Bossers with partner Pieter Musters. Monica has been good friends with the group for years. Robbert also shared a video on Sunday in which Monica and James arrive at a restaurant together.

James is a football international from Wales, but spent much of his youth in the Netherlands. He played football for Ajax, Sparta Rotterdam and RKC Waalwijk, among others. James currently plays for a German club, FC Nürnberg. He also plays for the Wales national team.
Monica announced at the beginning of last month that she is in a relationship again. “I have a boyfriend again, but that’s all I’m going to say about it. Period,” Geuze said in her podcast. “I’m very happy and that’s it.” The presenter did not want to say who it was at the time. Monica previously had a relationship with footballer Lars Veldwijk, among others, with whom she had a daughter in 2018. They announced their split at the end of 2019.
Monica presents the reality series The Bachelor which can now be seen on Videoland. She previously announced that it would be an exciting season.
