Two weeks ago, the Kraantjes wrote that they had arrived just in time. If the bacterial infection had not been discovered in time, it could have affected her bones. Fortunately, the Kraantjes listened to their premonition and the infection was tackled in time by the doctors. Elin was allowed to return home after a few days, but the family was still in uncertainty for a while. Elin had to undergo another blood test to see if she needed any additional medication.
Today the Kraantjes announced that they have received a positive result. “On Thursday, May 2, we had to be at the hospital at 9 a.m. for Elin,” they recall. ‘Blood was taken to see if the bacteria was gone. It took a while before we got the results… But good news, the antibiotics worked well and Elin had the last antibiotics yesterday!’ In the Instagram post they also share several snapshots of Elin, which clearly show that she is doing much better.
They end the post on another positive note. The weather promises to be very nice and that is of course good for business. ‘The campsite is full this weekend. And we are very much looking forward to it. The hustle and bustle, children playing, people who are pleasant and enjoying themselves, a full restaurant, the fresh bread rolls that we bake for our guests every morning, our children who all make friends at the campsite.
Although the Kraan family enjoys their stay in Luxembourg immensely, they do experience one major disadvantage, as they explain in this video:
