Mini Countryman (2010 – 2017)
You never choose a Mini just like that. You go for the nice appearance and a Countryman has quite a bit of ‘toughness’ to it, even though it is much larger than a mini-Mini. It is logical that the Countryman does not have the kart-like driving characteristics of a Cooper, but the used car steers and shifts quite nicely. The front seat cushions are a bit short, but the interior is spacious enough for four adults.
The luggage compartment measures only 330 liters. The dashboard in particular requires a lot of getting used to and the readability is still far from ideal. You should pay attention to this when purchasing a used car
In these Minis, coolant or engine oil can end up in vital parts, such as the central computer. This causes all kinds of malfunctions to occur. The cause is an internal leak in the sensors that monitor these fluids. New ones just need to be added.

An engine that does not start in combination with a ‘black’ dashboard, which is quite explainably just in the ignition lock. An emergency intervention is possible, but ultimately the used car simply needs a new lock.
