During a question and answer session at the Trump Cards NFT Gala, held at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, former President Donald Trump received a question from a fan about the cryptocurrency ‘Boden’. This memecoin is a parody of President Joe Biden’s name.
Despite not being positive about the investment potential of ‘Boden’, his response caused the coin’s value to suddenly increase by 25% and peak at a price of $0.42. Even after a slight decline, the coin remained at $0.40, which is still 15% higher than before Trump’s comments.
Trump is open to crypto donations
Although his campaign is not yet accepting crypto donations, Trump indicated during the event that he was open to the possibility. When a fan asked, “Can we donate with crypto?”, he replied, “If you can’t do that yet, I’ll make it happen.”
