Katja Schuurman is furious because Jan Roos called her a crazy mother. “Painful, hurtful and very unkind!”
Katja Schuurman believes that her ex Thijs Römer, with whom she had daughter Sammie, deserves a second chance. “He must be able to get on with his life. I also think he deserves that,” she recently told the weekly magazine Story.
‘Deranged mother’
Katja subsequently received a lot of criticism. Jan Roos even called her a ‘disturbed mother’. “He abused very young girls in text and images. If Katja thinks that this is defensible while the daughter she has with him falls in the same age category, then we can say that she is not in her right mind,” he said in conversation with Nieuwe Revu.
Katja furious
Jan’s intense statements do not bother Katja. She decided to send him a number of private messages on Instagram. And instead of responding, Jan read Katja’s messages in the RoddelPraat broadcast.
“Jan, if you knew what kind of mother I am to my daughters, how I struggle and fight to do the best for my eldest daughter,” Katja writes, among other things, in the messages. “Then calling me a crazy mother might not be appropriate. It is painful, easy, simplistic and very unkind.”
