Nina de la Croix and Rick Paul van Mulligen have children, but do not live together. Rick Paul lives with his husband René and Nina is single. The three of them raise their children as co-parents. Both in their own homes. In the podcast Co&Zo Rick Paul and Nina talk about this and talk about their experiences. As a result, they have now written a book of the same name.
About the book Co&Zo
It is a fact that there are co-parents, full-time parents, single parents, blended families and therefore different family forms, but they all have one thing in common: good communication between the (co-)parents is crucial. Because what if one parent wants to tell the child that Sinterklaas does not exist before the other? And what if your child becomes seriously ill, how do you deal with the shared fear and the division of care?
An inspiring and honest book about parenting, about fears and expectations, about how you experienced your own upbringing, what you take away from it for your own child and how you continue to talk to each other, even when things are uncomfortable. And it turns out: the similarities between all the different family forms are much greater than the differences.
