Buckingham Palace announced last Friday that King Charles will resume his public duties. “The medical team is very encouraged by the progress made to date and remains positive about the king’s continued recovery,” a spokesperson said.
‘Unwell’
Yet someone close to the king says things are not looking rosy at all. “Charles is determined to beat cancer,” the friend says Daily Beast. “But he is very unwell. More than they make it seem.”
Funeral plans

The funeral of every British monarch is planned years in advance and Charles’ situation has given his plans a “new sense of urgency.” “You can’t expect anything different if the king has been diagnosed with cancer,” says a former employee.

Charles’ health also affects Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, who also suffers from cancer. According to sources, William is struggling with serious pressure. Not only because his father and wife suffer from cancer, but because he also takes on additional royal duties.
