Liberation Festival 2024 The Hague: programme, weather and accessibility

Things are going wild on the Malieveld and in the Provincial House! Sunday May 5 is the Liberation Festival with performances by Krezip, Poke, Billy the Kit and Son Mieux, among others. Accessibility of the Liberation Festival

The Liberation Festival takes place on the Malieveld, a 5-minute walk from The Hague central station. HTM bus 20 and tram 1, 9, 15 and 17 also stop close to the festival site. The stops are within walking distance.

The Provincial House

The program in the Provincial House starts at 12 noon. You will find the Provincial House to the left of the Malieveld, so it is a little further walk when you come from The Hague CS station.

Train
The Malieveld is located close to The Hague Central Station. From the station you can follow the signs to the Malieveld.

Bicycle
There is a free unguarded bicycle shed at the festival site. Bicycles attached to the festival’s construction fences may be cut loose and removed for safety reasons.

Car
You will find the Helicon parking garage (at Zwarteweg 40) close to the Malieveld. If you reserve a spot you can stay there for a whole day for 17.50 euros. Click here to book.

You can also go under the Malieveld. There you pay 2 euros per 31 minutes and in the Museumkwartier garage you pay 2.50 euros per half hour.

Weather forecast Liberation Festival

In The Hague, 15 degrees are forecast for now and if you go to the liberation festival it is useful to take an umbrella with you. There may be showers in both the afternoon and evening, but fortunately Berend reports that it will probably not be a soaking wet day.
