After the summer, Carrie ten Napel will present a talk show on NPO1 every Friday evening at 7 p.m. Omroep MAX’s program is broadcast live from the canteen of the IJsselmeervogels football club in the Utrecht fishing village of Spakenburg.

A spokesperson for Omroep MAX confirms the new talk show after earlier reporting A.D. “It will be a talk show with a somewhat looser setting,” the spokesperson told NU.nl. “For example, there is no talk show table, but there are various seating areas. Carrie sits down at the various seating areas during the program.”

According to Omroep MAX, it will be a talk show about current events, but there will be no political topics. There is also room for live music.

It was previously announced that Eva Jinek will present a talk show from Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m. That program, from the broadcaster AVROTROS, will also start after the summer. Jinek and Ten Napel thus fill the gap in the program Sophie & Jeroen in the early evening.

Sophie Hilbrand and Jeroen Pauw are moving to the late evening talk show in the new television season. They alternate from Monday to Thursday. It is not yet known which program will fill that time on Friday.
