Streaming service HBO Max will be renewed in June and this will be accompanied by a price increase. A standard subscription will no longer cost 7.99 euros, but 9.99 euros per month. In addition, there will be a new and cheaper subscription, but with advertisements.

The cheapest subscription with advertisements will cost 5.99 euros per month. You can watch films and series from the range in HD resolution on two devices. Videos cannot be downloaded for offline viewing with this subscription.

The difference with the standard subscription is that you get thirty downloads per month. There are also no advertisements for films and series.

From June 11, that subscription will be 2 euros more expensive than it is now. People who once received a lifetime discount of 50 percent at the start of the service will pay 1 euro more per month.

There is also a Premium subscription of 13.99 euros per month. This gives people access to 4K resolution of series and films. They can also download a hundred times per month.

Subscribers will need to download the new HBO Max app starting June 11 to view the offering. There will also be an option to purchase an extra sports package. For an extra 5 euros per month you can watch live sporting events, such as UFC. Eurosport 1 and 2 are also included in that package.
