The Art Quarter ‘Unplucked!’ Final presentation in Niehove

There are many new activities on the Kunstkwartier program in the near future, starting with the performance hours until the May holidays. Interested parties can listen to the students and their teachers at various locations in the Westerkwartier. All these evenings and afternoons are free of charge.

Furthermore, the Classic Express comes to Leek. On April 11 and 12, this mobile concert hall will park in Leek at the Oldenoert primary school. On these days, children from Nijenoert, Springplank and Panhuys primary school will enjoy a concert. The Classic Express is an enormous trailer that can extend into a concert hall of 14 meters long and 7 meters wide. There is room for approximately 35 children at a time. Prize winners of the Princess Christina Competition (young top talent from all over the country) will perform on board the Classic Express, presented by a specially trained pianist/presenter. The series in Leek is all about jazz music!

The Art Quarter ‘Unplucked!’ Final presentation 2024
On Wednesday evening, July 17, 2024, Het Kunstkwartier will present its final presentation of the 2023-2024 season at the fruit growing company Oudebosch Kommerzijl-Niehove. On this evening, various orchestras, ensembles and other compositions of students and teachers present themselves with a variety of acts.
