Amsterdam, April 24, 2024 — Revolut, the financial super app with more than 40 million customers worldwide, today announces the launch of the RevPoints loyalty program in the Netherlands. It will soon be available to EEA and UK customers, making it one of the most comprehensive debit card loyalty programs in the region.

RevPoints reward customers for their daily spending. Card payments are converted into interesting benefits. In addition, customers can earn even more rewards and improve their money management by completing financial challenges. This could include setting a budget or reaching a savings goal. Customers who earn points can use the Round Up feature to earn even more points by rounding each transaction up to the nearest whole number. They can convert this change into RevPoints. Customers who upgrade to one of the Revolut paid plans will receive an upgrade bonus of up to 10,000 RevPoints, depending on the plan.

Accumulated RevPoints can be exchanged for Flying Blue Miles for all travel with Air France, KLM or one of their many airline partners. They can also be converted into Avios (on selected IAG airlines).

In addition, RevPoints can also be redeemed in the app for hotels and homes in dream destinations from Bali to Buenos Aires. There are almost 2 million properties available in the Revolut app through the ‘Stays’ feature.

Revolut customers can redeem their RevPoints in Revolut Experiences for even more unforgettable vacations. They can choose from more than 300,000 activities through the ‘Experiences’ feature in the Revolut app. Just think of viewing the Paris skyline from the Eiffel Tower or relaxing in the Széchenyi Thermal Baths in Budapest.

Christopher Guttridge, General Manager of Lifestyle Products at Revolut, said: “RevPoints are designed to turn routine purchases into valuable rewards. RevPoints will soon be available across Europe, making it the most comprehensive debit card loyalty program in the region. We ensure customers get the most out of their primary Revolut account by offering a tangible reward for everyday spend.”

“RevPoints complements our suite of everyday banking products. We continue to innovate to meet the needs of our customers. Just think of renting holiday accommodation, hotels, travel insurance, activities and currency exchange. Revolut is always looking for ways to redefine its services. We also want to do this with loyalty programs by adding even more daily benefits in the future.”

Revolut customers can earn up to 1 point per euro spent, depending on their plan. They can boost this by also automatically converting their change into points. The RevPoints are then converted into the same number of Avios or Flying Blue Miles. Customers can use them for discounts on airline tickets, paid upgrades or other benefits.

In the Netherlands, RevPoints replaces the cashback on Stays bookings, which was previously offered to Revolut customers.

Revolut recently launched Revolut 10, the app’s biggest update yet. Revolut 10 makes everyday money management as easy as possible, focusing on those who increasingly use Revolut as their primary account

General Terms and Conditions of RevPoints apply.
