Can I ask you something: glad that the gas tap in Groningen is closed?

A historic decision this week: the gas tap in Groningen will be permanently closed after sixty years. Are students happy?

Well, most students have little experience of closing the gas tap, and if they have heard it, it doesn’t mean much to them. But a few are indeed happy.

So the gas tap is closed, but the earthquakes do not necessarily stop immediately, so it is very useful that the student from the Caribbean we met gives us a lesson in safety during an earthquake: sit under a table and stay indoors.

And have Hanze students ever felt an earthquake? Well, quite a few have indeed experienced it firsthand. The last student in the video, after some hesitation, even wants to demonstrate how that went.

What keeps Hanze students busy? What irritates them? How do they prepare for exams? Questions, questions, questions, and we will try to find the answers for you by letting students speak.

That is, in short, what ‘Could I ask you something’ is: the mouthpiece of Hanze students. So if you come across us on campus with your camera running, don’t hesitate to give your opinion about everything that concerns you as a student!

Do you also have suggestions for topics? Or is there something going on in your studies that you think we should pay attention to? Send a message to [email protected] or click hererrrr.
