A 20-year-old woman assaulted a female boa with a knife in the Wilhelminapark in Breda on Wednesday evening. This happened after a number of boas challenged the woman about her restraining order. Officers tasered the suspect. The police also fired a warning shot. The suspect has been arrested.

The municipality’s boa was approachable and was taken to hospital by ambulance for further treatment. The suspect from Breda was taken to a police cell complex for further investigation and interrogation.

Around seven o’clock there were a number of boas in the park, because the woman had been seen and she had an area ban. The woman stabbed the boa with a knife during the conversation, which injured her.

Woman ran away
The police were alerted and quickly arrived on the scene. When the police arrived, the 20-year-old woman ran away. Officers fired a warning shot and a taser was used to bring the suspect under control.

According to a 112 correspondent, a large part of the park was cordoned off with police tape. The emergency services were fully present. In addition to an ambulance and several police cars, there were also enforcement cars and a police motorcycle.
