There will be a second season of the popular TV show A house full of emigrates. However, the Jelies family is missing in the new season, reports broadcaster KRO-NCRV. The Kraan family can be admired again.
A house full of emigrates is a spin-off from A house full. In the first season, the Jelies and Kraan families were closely followed during their adventure abroad. The Jelies from Tollebeek emigrated to Spain. The Kraantjes from Boskoop left for Luxembourg to run a campsite there.
The Jelies family was featured in the program for six years, but is missing from the new series ‘to focus on new adventures’, reports KRO-NCRV. Father Johan and mother Janneke look back on the past years ‘with a good feeling’. “After six wonderful years, in which we experienced wonderful things with our family that we never thought possible, we were able to realize our dream in Spain. And with our new life there, new challenges will come our way that we want to explore quietly in the near future.”
There is good news for fans of the Kraan family. The family can be seen again in the program. Father Ivan and mother Linda left for Luxembourg last year with seven of their nine children. The new series shows that Quinten and his girlfriend Caressa join the team. Ivan and Linda ‘are very much looking forward’ to the continuation of the program, they say on the KRO-NCRV website.
Ivan told this site in an interview last year why the family left Boskoop. “I didn’t see a future anymore. You didn’t have a cent left. If I compare the Netherlands with Luxembourg, the facilities for children are much better organized here. You get more child benefit here in one month than in three months in the Netherlands.”
