Every year, 120,000 people enter the final phase of their lives due to an incurable disease or old age. This number is increasing enormously due to the aging population. All those people need palliative care. Care in which no longer healing, but quality of life, grieving and dying is central. Especially in the palliative phase, people must be able to count on care that suits them. The National Palliative Care II Program (NPPZ II) aims to integrate palliative care into regular care.

Margo den Ouden, NPPZ II communications coordinator, asked Mensch for visual and copy support for the established communication lines. In our program we join forces with numerous partners and jointly commit ourselves to significantly improving the quality of life, grieving and dying for patients and their loved ones. Our ambitions are great, ranging from improving digital data exchange to increasing social awareness. Mensch has supported us in laying a solid foundation through a new corporate identity and formulating texts for each strategic theme. We are pleasantly surprised by the constructive collaboration and how quickly Mensch has mastered complex material.”

The collaboration has also led to the creation of a new website for the NPPZ II. This website serves as a central point for all initiatives in the country aimed at integrating palliative care into regular care. The website will go live in May.

Malou Janssen (Mensch): “The integration of palliative care into regular care is socially urgent. It is important to be able to contribute to this with Mensch. That’s where we are at our best.”

The website is for a wide audience overpalliatievezorg.nl an accessible source of information about palliative care.
