Barrels and jerry cans were found in at least six places in the west of Brabant this morning. It is probably dumped drug waste. The police deployed a helicopter to map the dumping sites.
The waste is spread in the rural areas of Etten-Leur, Breda, Moerdijk and Prinsenbeek. According to Omroep Brabant, the waste is located along roads and ditches. The contents of some barrels would also leak into the ditch.
The police hope that people in the area saw something:

The police consider a connection between the various dumpings, but the investigation is still ongoing. It is not yet known how many barrels and jerry cans are involved in total.
Both fire brigade and police are present at the dumping locations. The police are still looking for witnesses.
