UTRECHT > As of today, it is possible to register for the Lindahl’s Singelloop Utrecht. The oldest street run in the Netherlands is on the agenda on Sunday, October 6. Due to its growth, the organization has expanded the event area and implemented innovations in the program.

Every year in October, the organization welcomes thousands of runners to Utrecht. Due to the popularity and growth of the Lindahl’s Singelloop Utrecht, the event area has been expanded. For example, the Jaarbeursplein will also be part of a running event on October 6. Participants can pick up their starting number here and use the bag drop-off. Just like previous editions, the finish is on the Catharijnesingel, near the Moreelsepark, where the participants are welcomed in festively.

To create more spread on the course, there will be several starting waves at the 5 and 10 kilometers during this 72nd edition. This way, every runner can fully enjoy the oldest street run in the Netherlands. Once again this year, the participants will run a beautiful course along the Utrechtse Singel, the Maliebaan and the city center of Utrecht.

ProgramThe program for this running classic is as follows:-

Lindahl’s 10 KM Singelloop – 5 KM Singelloop Utrecht – Kids Run 2.5 KM – Kids Run 1 KM – Business Runs The Kids Run of 1 kilometer is for children from 4 to 8 years old. The Kids Run of 2.5 KM is for children from 8 to 12 years old.

“The Singelloop is the oldest running race in the Netherlands and attracts many people every year. It is the largest running event in the city center of Utrecht, for young and old and from recreational to talented runners. As a municipality, we have been supporting this event for years and we work together to get more people moving. As Sports Councilor, I am very proud of what the Singelloop does for our city. Together we ensure that our city becomes healthier and more vibrant. Last year I also ran and broke my personal record in the 10 kilometers!” – said councilor Eva Oosters of the municipality of Utrecht.

After a successful event in 2023, Lindahls will also be the main sponsor of the Singelloop Utrecht in 2024. The common factor? They are ready for anyone who wants to get the best out of themselves. For optimal muscle recovery after this sporting performance, Lindahls will again provide all participants of the 5 and 10KM with one of their protein-rich products after the finish.

Charity

KWF Cancer Control will also be the charity of the Lindahl’s Singelloop Utrecht in 2024. Together with all the runners, a huge amount of money is raised every year for groundbreaking research. Participants who register through Run Against Cancer and raise at least 500 euros in sponsorship money will be rewarded with a free starting ticket and the unique Run Against Cancer shirt.
