The doors of the restaurant at the top of the De Zeeland shopping center have been closed for a long time. After the bankruptcy of De Watertuin in October 2023, they remained closed. The shopping center then announced that a new restaurant was opening, but after that it remained quiet for a long time. Until now.

What we can eat there later is still a secret. The shopping center mysteriously describes it as “a wealth of dishes in an enchanting setting.”
New restaurant
The fact that there was a new restaurant in De Zeeland had been reported on the shopping center’s website since this winter. There were also rumors for some time that the all-you-can-eat concept Tafelen was coming to Bergen op Zoom. So that is not correct. There will indeed be a new restaurant, but with the name ‘Experience’. There is no opening date yet. The shopping center says it is working hard on the new business. So to be continued.
