Antwan van Esch started as sales director at Doyen Auto Nederland on May 1. The company announced this in a press release.

He succeeds Kees Willemsen, who started at Nexus Automotive Netherlands on February 1.

“Together with his team, Van Esch will strive to raise Doyen Auto’s position in the Dutch market to the same level as in Belgium, Luxembourg and France,” said Doyen. “I look forward to further expanding our market share with the support of our parent company,” says Van Esch.

“With Van Esch we are bringing in a professional who has proven several times in the past that he can keep a ship straight in rough waters and then speed up,” says Tim de Vleeschauwer, sales director Doyen Benelux.

Van Esch has been working in the automotive industry for 25 years. He started on the shop floor and has held various commercial positions, including at LKQ Fource.

Doyen sees growth opportunities in the saturated Dutch market, without the company wanting to put a number on it. “We have more to gain than to lose,” says Doyen CEO Patrice Astor. Read a report here.
