The Dutch drug boss ‘Doctortattoo’, who was sentenced to 13 years in prison, was put on a plane by Turkey with an economy ticket and has now been arrested at Schiphol. The Public Prosecution Service has announced this.

The East Brabant court in Den Bosch had convicted the 43-year-old man from Boskoop last year for his leadership role in two crime organizations. It concerned a Mexican-Dutch collaboration in the production of synthetic drugs.

He had been allowed to await the criminal trial in freedom, but had disappeared without a trace during treatment. Recently it became clear that he was staying in Turkey.

Willemsoord

Doctertattoo, together with a Mexican – alias ‘Pablo Icecobar’ – was the main suspect in the operation of crystal meth labs in Achter-Drempt, Willemsoord and Hauwert, among others. The most well-known lab is the drug boat or ‘narco barco’ that was found in Moerdijk in May 2019.

After arriving at Schiphol, the man was transported directly to prison to serve his sentence. In addition, he must repay 222,419.71 euros in criminal profits to the State.
