On Friday, May 10 (the day after Ascension Day) and Monday, May 20 (Whit Monday), seventy farms throughout the Netherlands will open their yards to the public for the 17th time.

The Farm Days are organized by dairy company FrieslandCampina. Only farmers who supply milk to this company participate in the Farm Days.

Visit the farmer

During the Open Farm Days you not only get a glimpse into the farmer’s work, but there are also activities. Think of milk carton bowling, doing a puzzle with solar panels, face painting and participating in a (blind) tasting in the dairy bar.

Utrecht residents who want to visit a farm have four options: a farm in Loenen aan de Vecht, Braambrugge, Baarn and a farm in Bunschoten-Spakenburg. You can visit all farms from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On this map you can see all the farms that participate.

Also good to know: you don’t have to pay to visit during the Farm Days.
