Wildlife Photographer of the Year is coming to Groningen this summer. More than 100 photos and videos can be admired in this traveling exhibition.

The photos were selected from approximately 50,000 submissions Wildlife Photographer of the Year – competition: the most prestigious competition in nature photography, organized by the Natural History Museum in London. The acclaimed photo exhibition with the winners and finalists of the 59th edition can be seen in Forum Groningen from Saturday 29 June to Sunday 3 November.

As side programming, the Forum offers various activities, such as photography workshops, excursions with nature photographers and a photo competition.

Traveling photo exhibition

The Natural History Museum in London has organized the Wildlife Photographer of the Year – League . Nature photographers of all ages and from all over the world can submit photos to this leading photo competition. Last year, no fewer than 49,957 nature photos from 95 different countries were submitted. An international jury assessed the photos.

The exhibition spotlights the winning images from a total of nineteen categories. The videos in the exhibition give a behind-the-scenes look at a number of finalists and show the stories behind the winning photos.
