VLISSINGEN – The Zeeland in Stroomversnelling subsidy scheme has been extended for a period of 4 years (2024-2027). Have that Provincial Executive, after a successful first four years, concluded on Tuesday, May 7. The first opening for feasibility studies and demonstration projects within this new period will open on May 10, 2024 and has a subsidy ceiling of € 1,000,000. The opening closes on September 13, 2024 at 5:00 PM. The money has been made available by Zeeland municipalities and the Province of Zeeland. A contribution is also being made from the North Sea Port District Regional Deal to reach this amount.
The scheme is intended for financing innovation ideas to achieve a sustainable economic structure strengthening of Zeeland. With the subsidy the feasibility of a project can be investigated or a first version can be realized. The projects must connect to one of the themes: energy, climate, raw materials and agriculture & food. A separate (theme) will follow later this year for the shortage on the labor market. opening .
Collaboration comes first
Applicants for the subsidy must at least collaborate with two other partners (one of which is a knowledge partner) in order to achieve collaboration stimulate . Consider, for example, an educational or knowledge institution. In this way we work on a robust economy and we also involve young people at an early stage.
